The United Methodist Men scholarship program each year provides assistance to men and women who are entering the United Methodist licensed or ordained ministry as a second career, who will be attending an approved school and who plan to serve in the Western North Carolina Conference.
These scholarships are funded by contributions from local United Methodist Men units and generous individuals. The scholarships help to buy books and support the costs of these persons who typically are undergoing difficult financial circumstances in order to attend school on their way to fulfill their call to ordained ministry.
